Getting started

1 · Prepare your repository

Public GitHub repo. A static site needs its HTML (or a build that outputs it). A bot needs a package.json with a start script and a lockfile. Keep API keys out of Git.

2 · Connect your wallet

You sign a short message to prove you own the wallet. It does not send a transaction or move funds. Never share a seed phrase or private key.

3 · Get hosting credit

Your balance is under Usage & Credits. Creator-fee reward payouts only issue credit when they are enabled on this server; the page shows their current status.

4 · Deploy

Create a project. The Host reserves credit, creates the app on DigitalOcean App Platform and shows the real build status and logs. Billing starts when the deployment is live.

5 · Keep it running

Each hour is charged from the reservation and topped up from your balance. When credit runs out the project is stopped, not deleted. Databases keep billing while stopped.

Only wallets in ADMIN_WALLETS see this. Every action is audited.

Operator-funded hosting credit for your own wallet or early beta users. It is not a payment and cannot be withdrawn: it only pays for hosting on The Host. DigitalOcean still charges your account for whatever the credit is spent on. Each grant is recorded with your wallet, the recipient, the amount and the reason.
